A long tradition of caring: The roots of CHSLD’s Father Dowd (134 beds), St. Andrew’s (70 beds) and St. Margaret’s (96 beds and Day Centre), three long-term care facilities, reach back to 1865. Together, the homes have provided some 300 years of quality care to English-speaking Montrealers. With a renewed mandate and regional status, integrated with CIUSSS West-Central Montreal Health, these homes are totally funded by the Ministry of Health and Social Services and welcome the generous donations from the community. Pastoral services (including Roman Catholic: at Father Dowd, and St. Margaret’s and St. Andrew’s) are available.
